Elisha Cuthbert and Dion Phaneuf Married

It’s a Canadian royal wedding!

Actress Elisha Cuthbert married Toronto Maple Leafs captain Dion Phaneuf on Saturday at St. James Catholic Church on Prince Edward Island.

A reception followed at Phaneuf’s waterfront home. Here are pictures of the couple and the venue. Pretty romantic, don’t you agree?

The bride wore a long-sleeved lace wedding dress and arrived at the church in a vintage black Camaro, a wedding gift for her groom. The bridesmaids wore pale pink.

Elisha has such a classic, feminine, fairy tale wedding style, we’d love to see her in something from our Ever Collection. Maybe the Eden & Ellery Set. Dion is a hockey player, so we’d pick the ruggedly handsome Emmet Wedding Band for him.

Cutbert and Phaneuf having been dating since 2008, and have been engaged since 2012.

Congrats to the happy couple!

Press & Rave Reviews for our 2013 Engagement Rings

We’re pleased to announce that our Anneliese Wedding Set was featured in Jewelry News Network, and JCK named it “Engagement Ring of the Month.”

JCK Magazine also featured our Henna Rose Wedding Set in an article about this year’s trends, and The Knot named it their Editors’ Pick for the JCK Luxury show.

Thank you, everyone! We’re always thrilled when people recognize our designs. They’re a labor of love!

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

we love: midsummer night’s dream wedding

What about a wedding isn’t dreamlike? It’s beautiful, magical, dizzying, a little crazy, then it’s over just like that.

And we’re really loving Midsummer Night’s Dream for a wedding theme.

The play has a wedding, fairies, the Queen of the Amazons and an enchanted forest. So much visual inspiration!

Here’s It Girl Jemima Kirke, talking about her bohemeian wedding style. And here’s a great Midsummer Nights mood board with her in it.

We found this board of otherworldly inspiration on Pinterest.

The Swedish Stuga where this whimsical wedding took place was inspired by A Midsummer Nights Dream. Check out the dreamy, surreal photography.

Here’s a great Midsummer Night’s Dream wedding dress. This one’s pretty great, too.

We love this delicate headpiece. It’s très fairy-chic, no?

Check out Anita Louise, the original Fairy Queen Titania from the 1935 Midsummer Night’s Dream movie.

And what ring could be ethereal enough for the Midsummer Night’s Dream bride? We think it’s Leah, but we’d love to hear your ideas!

we love: wedding color inspiration

We were just checking out Martha Stewart Weddings’ ‘Color Issue,’ and we’re feeling inspired! Since summer is here, we’re loving pops of festive color.

So on that note, here’s a spectrum of links we love. Have a joyful, colorful weekend!

We love this adorable neon beach wedding from Green Wedding Shoes.

Here’s another bright, beautiful wedding inspiration, from 100 Layer Cake.

And here’s one we talked about a while back, from Brooklyn Bride. The bridesmaids dresses are just. Wow. So festive and happy.

And lastly, we can’t talk about color without showing you some of our colors! This year, we’ve introduced some rosy loveliness into our designs. Rose gold is a fun, romantic twist for brides who want something classic, but a little different.

We Love: mermaid wedding inspiration

Style mag Lucky reports that “mermaid” beauty is all the rage, and we are all about it!

We unveiled our Arielle Engagement Ring a few months ago, which has a decidedly magical-mermaid feel, and we’re loving the trend for weddings. Iridescent colors, siren shapes and under-the-sea inspiration just puts us in the greatest mood!

We wouldn’t necessarily take it so literally, but these pictures are really beautiful.

This mermaid inspired elopement is so perfect!

And we adore this sunset ‘Day After’ shoot from Sean Taylor Photography, with the bride’s wildly sexy mermaid hair.

What do you think of the mermaid trend?

We Love: Simple Wedding Rings & Simple Living

Zen. The economy. Saving time. Saving the environment. Quality over quantity. Teaching our kids to value relationships and experiences over the material things in life.

There are so many reasons why less is more. This interesting article on the topic has us thinking of ways to scale back and simplify.

On that note, here’s our list of links to make life simpler, better and more fun.

Why buy a wear-once dress? Shabby Apple is such a great resource for bridesmaids dresses they’ll love to wear again.

A cool way to sell your wedding dress, so someone else can enjoy it!

A chic braid. The best hair for a summer wedding with lots of dancing, and eco-friendlier than a headpiece.

White dresses with cutouts and sheer details for the daring summer bride. You could wear every single one of these again.

Or what about a skirt? Options for the bold bride, from ‘The Bold Bride.’

And speaking of simple, here’s how you make the classic Mai Tai, which is actually fresher and more sophisticated than we realized.

Go forth and be simple, whatever that means to you, and have a lovely weekend!

Wedding Trend We Love: Feathers

Our authorized retailer JCK named our Anneliese Engagement Ring its ‘Jewel of the Month,‘ and it got us thinking about the the feather wedding motifs we’ve been loving.

Here’s feather inspiration from Brooklyn Bride. The cake is epic.

We’re really feeling the chic clutch instead of a bouquet. It draws more attention to the ring!

A feather bracelet is such an easy way to wear the trend.

And the famous Miss James from Bleubird blog held her reception beneath these gold-tipped feathers, for a super bohemian take on the trend.

We’ll love you forever if youLike’ us on Facebook!

reid scott engaged

Cute couple alert!

Veep actor Reid Scott is engaged to his long time girlfriend, the beautiful and talented Elspeth Keller. He proposed in Palm Springs, but not before flying secretly to San Francisco to ask her father first.

Awww.

He proposed with a bold and intricate engagement ring bedecked with Art Deco details. Here’s our version of the look, the movie star worthy Halle Engagement Ring.

Best of luck to these two, they make the sweetest couple!

Matt Damon and wife Luciana Renew Vows

This is so sweet!

Matt Damon and his wife Luciana renewed their wedding vows at Sugar Beach in St. Lucia, in an intimate ceremony with a star-studded guest list.

“This isn’t a ‘Hollywood’ wedding,” one insider told Us Magazine. “Matt wanted it to be fun, happy, and private. He felt like Luciana deserves this, first and foremost.”

“They’ve wanted to do it for a long time,” another pal said of the couple, married since December 2005. “They had a tiny ceremony the first time, and wanted to celebrate with family and friends.”

Jimmy Kimmel officiated, while Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner, John Krasinski, Emily Blunt and Chris Hemsworth were there, dressed in white, to celebrate the happy couple.

Luciana wore a flowing, blush-colored Naeem Khan gown with a striking metallic belt straight from the runway, and their daughters Isabella, Gia and Stella wore matching Naeem Khan dresses.

What would our dream ring be for Luciana?

We think a dazzling right hand ring would be just the thing. Henna Rose, with its rose gold detail, would be so incredible with that incredible blush-colored dress.

What say you? Leave us a comment! We’d also adore it if you’d ‘Like’ us on Facebook.

Trend We Love: Scalloped Details

Since we read this post on Brooklyn Bride, we’re seeing scallops all over. A scalloped neckline, a scalloped hemline, they’re everywhere all of a sudden. We love scallops for a unifying theme for a wedding, and we love them most when they’re more retro-sophisticated than cutesy. Here’s the best of the best we’ve seen.

It’s rare to say this about a veil, but this sheer, scalloped fingertip veil is really sexy.

Here’s a garter to go with it.

And here’s the dress.

For the bridesmaids.

For the honeymoon.

And the cake.

For the scalloped engagement ring, there’s Arielle, from our Arabesque Collection.

Thinking scallops on a wedding band, and a bit simpler? Here’s Lola, from our nature inspired Laurel Collection.

They also look gorgeous together, as in our featured image above. So what do you think of scallops? Love it or leave it? Seen any great ones we missed? Leave it in the comments.
