Wow. We love these unforgettable wedding moments. A great subject to bring up when you meet with photographers! Find many more here.

Quite a few of us here at Jeff Cooper have all-daughter families. We’re loving this list of rules for dads of daughters.

We’re re-imagining all these roles with the actors who didn’t get the part.

We Love: Simple Wedding Rings & Simple Living

Zen. The economy. Saving time. Saving the environment. Quality over quantity. Teaching our kids to value relationships and experiences over the material things in life.

There are so many reasons why less is more. This interesting article on the topic has us thinking of ways to scale back and simplify.

On that note, here’s our list of links to make life simpler, better and more fun.

Why buy a wear-once dress? Shabby Apple is such a great resource for bridesmaids dresses they’ll love to wear again.

A cool way to sell your wedding dress, so someone else can enjoy it!

A chic braid. The best hair for a summer wedding with lots of dancing, and eco-friendlier than a headpiece.

White dresses with cutouts and sheer details for the daring summer bride. You could wear every single one of these again.

Or what about a skirt? Options for the bold bride, from ‘The Bold Bride.’

And speaking of simple, here’s how you make the classic Mai Tai, which is actually fresher and more sophisticated than we realized.

Go forth and be simple, whatever that means to you, and have a lovely weekend!

We Love: Mismatched Bridesmaids Dresses

We really, really love them. The more creative, the better, as long as it’s in great taste.

Here are our top three sources for inspiration.

1. We’re really feeling these ‘maids dress color stories over on 100 Layer Cake.

2. And we thought these vintage bridesmaid dresses from ‘a living space’ would be cool for a super bohemian wedding.

3. Finally, BHLDN has the most on trend color schemes. Your bridesmaids definitely won’t complain about looking dated.

As always, we believe in doing what you love, whatever it is. So what do you think about mismatching bridesmaids dresses? Love it or leave it?

Follow us on Facebook, we’re posting new Jeff Cooper rings from our Spring 2013 Collection ever day!

We Love: A Brunch Wedding & Statement Lipstick

Here’s a wedding makeup idea your bridesmaids will love. A statement lip can make a subtle, wearable bridesmaid dress really ‘pop’ and coordinate with your color scheme. Check this out for inspiration.

The sensibility doesn’t have to be bright and poppy, either. In fact, we love the juxtaposition of moody makeup and spring flowers, too.

Imagine a chic burgundy or oxblood manicure with these Jeff Cooper rings. The contrast of fresh florals and deep, dramatic color looks so cool.

Good news! You have two more days to save 20% off wedding & bridesmaid dresses at J. Crew! We’re really feeling this color. And doesn’t the illusion neckline on this one feel like something Sofia Coppola would wear?

These accent walls are totally inspiring for home, but we think they’d make great photo, reception or ceremony backdrops as well.

And speaking of parties. Our Bloody Mary love is well documented, so how about serving this for a chic brunch reception, shower or engagement party? Lovely.

And it wouldn’t be a wedding roundup without the emotions running high. Here are two of the most romantic things we’ve seen lately.

We Love: Peter Som for BHLDN

Got 6 minutes for a sweet, Oscar-nominated romcom?

Years ago, we read in the NY Times that the secret to hangover-free celebrations is cocktails that combine clear spirits with a vitamin C mixer. It works! For an Oscar night signature cocktail, we want to try this. (It’s bright and beautiful for a spring wedding, too.)

Ever watch wedding dances on YouTube? We do. This one’s a classic. So much love.

How cool is this? Fair trade site 7 Hopes United now has a gift registry.

Want to go somewhere totally different for your honeymoon? Prague looks like a photographer’s paradise.

And here’s every single item we’d want for the trousseau on Stripes & Sequins. The perfect little collection to make a bride feel beautiful.

Thanks to Forbes Magazine for mentioning us!  They picked 22 jewelry designs for 2013, including our Tilly Engagement Ring!

We Love: Colorful Dresses & Greta Garbo

The colors! That dress! Check out Summer & Adam’s gorgeous wedding photos on Brooklyn Bride.

First, we love when the bride’s dress really stands out from her bridesmaids. It’s natural to want the maids to look incredible, but when their colors and silhouettes are too similar, it can steal a little attention from the bride.

Summer’s “Garbo” gown by Elizabeth Fillmore is so glamorous! We found pictures of it from every angle, but the mannequin can’t do it justice after seeing it on a beautiful, real bride.

Summer said two things about planning a wedding that we love.

On her vision:
I wanted it to be bright, beautiful, and full of color, music, love, and joy.

Her advice to couples:
Focus on what matters, which is the two of you.  Stick together, enjoy every second, and it will be perfect in all the ways that matter.

Have a bright, beautiful, colorful, musical, loving and joyful weekend! Here’s our links list of the week.

Check out this inspiring slideshow from talented wedding photographers Our Labor of Love. We’ve been following their work for a while, and they also shot Summer & Adam’s beautiful pictures!

Doing your own wedding makeup? Emily from Cupcakes & Cashmere has been guest blogging at Estee Lauder, and we finally understand concealer! Check out her tutorial here.

Wow. Check out Danish designer Naja Munthe’s Copenhagen home. Natural, neutral, special and sophisticated, all at once. It also looks like the most calming, centered place to be in a busy city.

We Love: Vintage-Inspired Wedding Headpieces

This story from 100 Layer Cake made us think about our obsession with perfection. It’s a great thing when we’re making your Jeff Cooper rings, but the rest of the time? It’s great to take chances and enjoy the happy accidents life brings us.

Like rain on your wedding day. It’s supposed to be a problem, but for Kory, it was the highlight of her wedding day.

Towards the end of our first dance, an incredible lightning storm started appearing all around us, the rain-less type of insane lightning you only see out in big sky country. A little bit after, it rained for about ten minutes, and then it HAILED for another ten minutes (nickel-sized soft hail, wow). It was absolutely beautiful and amazing. We moved the dance party inside the big garage, and watched the storm. After about twenty minutes the freak storm passed and we all came back outside and continued the dance party in the puddles. It was amazing. Dancing in the puddles with everyone I love has to be my favorite memory from the day.

Just a reminder to ourselves, and all the other perfectionists out there, to be open to wonder wherever you find it. What does perfectly imperfect mean to you? Leave us a comment and let us know!

Enjoy these little surprises from around the web, and have a beautiful weekend!

We know this playful, imaginative “country” home is in Brooklyn, but we still can’t believe it. Via Vogue, via Haute Design.

This is interesting. Little Borrowed Dress lets you rent bridesmaids dresses.

And Lovely Bride did such a pretty piece on Agnes Hart’s Etsy store. Gorgeous, vintage-inspired, handmade headpieces, hats and veils.

Want to know what 13 people wore to be interviewed by Anna Wintour? It’s fascinating, actually.

Sounds like Anna Wintour hates vintage, but this blouse from Anthropologie is so good. Downton Abbey style!

And a recipe for a single serving of chocolate chip cookies. We can’t decide if this is silly or brilliant. Maybe both.
