As summertime fades into fall, we have this bittersweet desire to hold on a little while longer. We’ll miss gorgeous vegetables and flowers from the garden, swingy summer dresses, and the sound of kids playing in the sun.

Bargain shoppers, this is our weekend. H&M just launched their online store and it’s cool. This lace dress is adorable, and 100% cotton dresses are hard to come by in fast fashion.

Want some wardrobe inspiration? We were skeptical, but styled like this, Birkenstocks actually look sleek and sophisticated. Navy and white is so crisp  and classic, we love it.

Want to check out some celebrity hairstyles for weddings? Sure you do. Stephanie de Lannoy’s chic twist when she married Luxembourg’s Prince Guillaume incorporated her silver floral silk and tulle veil and a delicate platinum and diamond family tiara. And it was amazing.

The 4th of July always gets us thinking about our homeland, and brings up all sorts of feelings—sentimental, celebratory, and sometimes they run deep.

We proudly make all our rings here in America. Sure, we could do it cheaper, but we couldn’t do it better or more ethically.

We Love: Solstice 2013 & Summer Style

Yesterday was the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year (in the northern hemisphere.) And summer starts today! We’re loving this time of year and we’re excited to make the most of it.

We blogged about Midsummer Night’s Dream Wedding Style, and we’re still interested in everything that captures that magical, dreamy, summery feeling.

We’re feeling braids and ethereal makeup – for weddings and for whenever. Here’s a slideshow of “Midsummer” hair and makeup looks.

This dress from Free People embodies the aesthetic. So does this one, more demurely.

We Love: Summer Cocktails & A Fiesta Themed Wedding

This weekend, we’re trying new things. You have to, to keep things fresh and spicy. What’s on your list of fun experiments and experiences?

We really need to try cronuts.

But instead of waiting in line for them, we’ll probably just make these (surprisingly grown up and elegant!) mojito jello shots instead.

Not into it? Okay, here are some really, truly elegant summer cocktails. Worth a try, right?

To go with them? This salad looks incredible. And these lemon bars are so summery, we want to eat them on a hammock.

We want these tea glasses by Calypso St. Barthe! So pretty on a picnic, right?

We’re definitely trying at least one of these aromatherapy blends. We’re just not confessing which one!

And lastly, we love this vintage fiesta-themed wedding! Kids, babies, green shoes, flowing hair, an incredible bouquet, a groom wearing pink… we don’t know where to look! It’s all so good.
